For those of us who drive in to work every day, this is scary stuff. The American Road and Transportation Builders Association came out with their annual Deficient Bridge report, and several Illinois and Indiana bridges made the list.
In Illinois they include
90/94 express and locals over Stewart
94 over the Skokie River
53 northbound and southbound over Kirchoff Road
Lakeshore Drive over the Chicago River and Randolph.
In Northwest Indiana only one bridge was named and it was Cline Ave. over Guthrie St.
