Brookfield Zoo Giraffes Cheerful During Warm Weather

With warmer temperatures arriving to Chicago in the past week, everyone has been jumping outside taking in the warmth and enjoying the early start to spring. This excitement for warmth couldn't have been personified better though than by the giraffes over at the Brookfield Zoo, who after a long winter got to go outside for the first time in the whole year.

Photos are online of the giraffes, named Potoka and Arnieta, jumping around, stretching their legs, and what seemed to be dancing around in celebration. The collection of photos really show what everyone else is thinking, and even their excitement, that spring is coming soon and the cold is about to fade away.
