Chicago Park District Selling 50 Thousand Flowers

With spring in full swing, gardens are popping up around town in backyards and in apartments, and the Chicago Park District wants to help you out!

Over the coming weeks the Chicago Park District is selling thousands of flowers initially intended to be planted in parks across the city. Due to the pandemic, the Park District has scaled back its typical spring efforts, and instead of the flowers going to waste they are planning on selling 50 thousands of their spring annuals which have grown at greenhouses across the city. The plants can be bought online through their portal, and pickup times can be scheduled for Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

If you have a garden or are thinking of starting out one, head over to the main article here. Keep on Gardening Chicago!
