A Couple weeks ago Paws Chicago went on a crusade to help dogs and cats thousands of miles away from Chicago. PAWS Chicago took part in a harrowing journey to rescue around 75 dogs and cats who were subject to “horrific” conditions on the Caribbean Island of Dominica. Joining a coalition put together by Wings of Rescue, PAWS was able to fly the animals from Dominica to here in Chicago. Once arrived in Chicago, PAWS put together a large overnight intake to register the animals within their system. As of now some of the animals are medically-cleared and ready for adoption.
