Chicago, this time of year is about sharing love and giving, not just to your friends and family, but also to your community around you. That's why I'm taking the time to highlight some non profit organizations around the city that help the community that we live in:
One of these organizations is LITERACY CHICAGO. Since 1992 LITERACY CHICAGO has been addressing the literacy and language needs of Chicago adults. Through dedicated tutor volunteers and classes, they have been able to make a big difference in the lives of the students they work with.
